Load Testing
Most diesel driven generating sets that are regularly run with light or no load applied can often suffer from 'Wet-Stacking'. When a diesel engine operates without sufficient load it will not reach its optimum operating temperature, because of this, incomplete combustion occurs resulting in a build up of unburnt fuel and excess carbon in the exhaust system, turbocharger and combustion chamber components. Over time this will reduce available output power, efficiency and life span of the engine.
We offer a generator load testing service either as a one off test or as part of a regular maintenance package using our range of portable load banks operated with computerised data logging to give a detailed report of your engine & alternators condition and performance.
